Cracked glass, a black or flickering display and touch that stops responding are everyday phone repairs. Tell us your exact model and what the screen is doing, and we will confirm the repair and your quote before any work starts.
We replace screens on supported iPhone models, from older generations to recent ones. An iPhone screen is replaced as a complete display assembly, and we explain what to expect for features such as True Tone and Face ID before you approve.
We repair supported Samsung Galaxy phones. Most recent Galaxy models use AMOLED displays. Tell us the full model name, such as Galaxy S23 or A54, when you ask for a quote. For foldable models, contact us first.
We repair supported Google Pixel phones. Pixel screens are OLED, and on models with an under-display fingerprint sensor the sensor normally needs to be set up again after a new screen is fitted. We tell you what to expect for your Pixel when we quote.
Have a OnePlus, Motorola or another Android phone? Send us the exact model and we will confirm whether we can repair it.
What you see on the screen helps narrow down the fault. On most modern phones the glass and the display are bonded together, so even a crack that only affects the glass is normally repaired by replacing the full screen assembly.
The display underneath still works, but cracks tend to spread, can cut fingers and let in dust and moisture. It is worth repairing before the damage reaches the display or the touch layer.
These usually mean the display panel itself is damaged, often after a drop or pressure on the screen. A screen replacement normally fixes this, although a bent frame or a damaged connector can cause similar symptoms.
Parts of the screen ignoring your finger, or the phone tapping and typing on its own, usually point to a damaged touch layer. A damaged screen protector or a faulty charger can cause similar symptoms, so it is worth ruling those out first.
If the phone vibrates, rings or connects to a computer but shows nothing, the display or its connection is a likely cause. Sometimes the fault is on the phone's main board instead, which is where our motherboard repair work comes in.
Phones use two main types of screen, and each one tends to fail in its own way. Knowing which type your phone has helps explain what you are seeing after a drop.
Most current iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models use OLED screens (Samsung calls them AMOLED). Each pixel makes its own light, which gives deep blacks and a very thin panel. Damage often shows as black spots that spread, green or pink lines, or a screen that stays black while the phone still rings.
Some older and budget phones use LCD screens, which are lit by a backlight behind the panel. Damage often shows as dark or bright patches, light bleeding at the edges, lines, or a faint picture that is only visible under a torch when the backlight has failed.
Tell us your device model and the symptoms. We inspect the likely cause, talk through practical options and only proceed once you approve the scope and price.

Screens are not the only everyday repair. These are the other common problems customers bring to our Mississauga shop.
Signs include fast draining, shutting down with charge still showing, slow charging, or a swollen battery that lifts the screen. Do not keep charging or using a phone with a swollen battery.
If the cable feels loose or only charges at an angle, the port may simply be packed with pocket lint. Diagnosis shows whether the problem is the port, the cable, the battery or the charging circuit.
Cracked back glass and camera lens covers can often be replaced. On some newer iPhone models the back glass is designed to come off separately; on others it is bonded to the frame and takes more work. We explain the option for your model.
When a phone stays dead with a known-good charger, the fault can be on the main board, for example a charging chip or a short circuit. Board-level diagnosis and micro-soldering are covered on our motherboard repair page.

On most modern phones the glass is bonded to the display, so cracked glass is normally fixed by replacing the complete screen assembly. We confirm what your model needs when we quote.
On many Face ID iPhones, a small sensor assembly that Face ID relies on sits behind the original screen and has to be carefully moved to the new one; if it is damaged, Face ID can stop working. True Tone and under-display fingerprint sensors may also need to be set up after the repair. We explain what to expect for your model before you approve.
On recent iPhone models, iOS lists repair history under Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History. We explain what you may see there for your model before the repair.
Common signs are fast draining, shutting down with charge left, slow charging or a swollen battery. On iPhone, Settings > Battery > Battery Health shows the battery's maximum capacity. Stop using a phone with a swollen battery and bring it in.
Turn it off if you can, unplug it and do not charge it. Do not use rice, which can leave particles inside, or a hair dryer or other heat. Bring it in as soon as you can, because corrosion can continue even after the phone seems dry.
